Antioxidants for Pets
Pet Age Magazine recently highlighted Boneo Canine® Clinical Formula in the article “Antioxidants for Pets”. Boneo Canine was mentioned in the article for its antioxidant properties, which, combined with the other nutrients provide comprehensive and effective support for dog’s bones and joints. Boneo Canine® Maintenance Formula also features these same antioxidant characteristics. Antioxidants are important because they can help reduce widespread cellular damage by stabilizing free radicals. They can also increase immune function and reduce the effects of aging in senior dogs.

Good News For Pets
In a special "Be Kind to Animals Week" interview by Goodnewsforpets.com, the Naidu family shares the story of Neo, the rescue dog and inspiration behind the supplement. As covered in the article, Neo was rescued from the side of the road by the Naidu family in 2011 after he had been hit by a car. After adopting him, the family began the hard journey towards ensuring his recovery, including multiple failed operations on his shattered leg, where bones neither fused nor formed, leaving Neo facing amputation. Armed with a top-notch scientific background and veterinary team, the family developed a bone nutrient mix for Neo. Three years later, the product was commercialized and introduced as Boneo Canine.
Natural Approaches To Pet Nutrition
Boneo Canine® Maintenance Formula was recently featured in the “Natural Approaches to Pet Nutrition” article in Nutraceuticals World Magazine. “Larger dogs (particular those in their growing years), smaller more fragile dogs and agile or active dogs all need special attention paid to maintaining healthy bones. While ingredients like glucosamine, chondroitin and MSM all target joint health, they lack the support needed specifically for the skeletal system,” the article said. “To meet this need, Bio-Rep Animal Health, Yorba Linda, CA, developed Boneo Canine Maintenance Formula. The supplement is derived from Neo-Portin Complex, a blend featuring ribonuclease-enriched lactoferrin (R-ELF), a natural, lactose-free, milk-derived protein. R-ELF has been clinically shown to help support strong bones in dogs by enhancing bone turnover activity. The supplement also offers benefits for joint comfort, and provides an alternative for animals with a sensitivity to glucosamine. The formula includes a variety of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants for overall health.”
Boneo Canine® Featured on the I Love Dogs Site
Boneo Canine Maintenance Formula was recently mentioned in the “Dysplasia – A Vet Shares Ways to Ease the Pain” article on the I love Dogs Site. In the article, Dr. Frank Borostyankoi DVM, DACVS, veterinary advisor to BioRep Animal Health, answers the website’s questions about canine dysplasia. According to the article, even if a dog isn’t showing signs, it’s really painful and for some dogs it marks the beginning of the end. To help alleviate the dog’s pain, Dr. Borostyankoi suggests exercise, therapy, pain medications, supplements, and even surgery. He also told the website that there are many supplements that are believed to generate a better quality, thicker, lubricating joint fluid while also reducing inflammation. However there are supplements that are delivering bone and joint support in new and innovative ways. He uses Boneo Canine® as an example. “[It] helps with bone health by up-regulating bone remodeling, stimulating the production of new cartilage tissue, all while helping down regulate the inflammatory moderators in the affected joints.”
